In San Francisco is KangIn taking his guitar into his hands for the first time after 14 years. He finds the picture of him and EeTeuk sleeping on the sofa on the roof top, a smile decorating his lips when he remembers EeTeuk's laugh, smile and shining eyes.
He calls the information, trying to find out the phone number of EeTeuk as he wants to meet him again, wants to be together with him once again. He finds out that EeTeuk lives in Chicago now, not losing a single thought about something else when he makes his way to the airport to fly to Chicago.

*****

It is raining cats and dogs as EeTeuk stands in a telephone box in New York, talking to his friend.
“HeeChul, I always knew that he is alive. I could feel him. Oh my god, I see children as young as him everywhere with big brown eyes like his father,” EeTeuk says with a shaking voice.
“EeTeuk, calm down. Don't overreact. We're on honeymoon now, but we will be back soon. Don't do something too rash. Calm down,” HeeChul replies from the other line, worried as to what his friend might do.
“Calm down?! How shall I calm down! I was almost 15 years quiet! And what have I earned?” EeTeuk responds, tears streaming down his cheeks. He hangs up before HeeChul can respond, rushing out of the telephone box to the youth welfare office in New York.

It is a sunny day as JaeJoong stands in front of a playground, watching children together with their mothers. He can't stop his tears from spilling when he sees a little girl running into the open arms of her mother, giggling happily and hugging her lovingly. JaeJoong wishes so bad for his mother to hug him, wants to know how it feels to be hugged by a person you love. He is startled when he feels a pair of arms wrapped around his slim waist, a head resting on his shoulder.
“Don't cry,” the smooth voice of YunHo reaches his ears, his body slackening immediately and leaning into the warmth behind him. He is slowly spun around by YunHo, his tears wiped away as he closes his eyes, a small smile visible on his lips. The two boys are staring into each other's eyes, their foreheads pressed against one another when YunHo whispers soothing words, lifting the worries from JaeJoong's heart.

“Micky! I told you that you shan't talk with strangers,” Lee SooMan says sternly to Micky who is apparently talking with a black man.
“What's your name?” Micky asks the man who is searching for missing children.
“Mr. Jeffries,” the man answers, shaking hands with the young boy.
“Micky. So, now we know each other,” Micky says to Lee SooMan who is not pleased with what Mr. Jeffries is doing. He is searching for missing children, including Kim JaeJoong, the young talented boy he could earn so much money with. He knows exactly what will happen when the youth welfare office gets JaeJoong back. They will forget him and send him into families that may humiliate him. He leaves together with Micky, Mr. Jeffries calling the police as he has this feeling that Lee SooMan isn't good for the young boy next to him.
It happens in the evening after JaeJoong has said good night to YunHo, his heart still beating fast and loudly after the small kiss he received from the taller boy on his cheek. His smile fades away when the police appears in front of the house and wants to take Micky with them. He tries to help his friend, luring the policemen to run after him instead of Micky and runs out of the house straight into the arms of 'The Maker' who helps him to run away from the police.
JaeJoong reaches the subway, driving into a part of New York he has never been to before. It is cold outside, his breath visible as he stands at the street, a car passing him filled with young men that are listening to R'n'B. He is drawn to the other side of the street where a small church is standing. Music is floating out of the doors and reaching his ears. He can't stop his feet from walking into the church, walking to the enchanting music.
A group of young men and women is standing next to a piano, their voices filling the room completely. But the one that captivates JaeJoong the most is a young boy with brownish-blond shoulder-length hair, maybe ten to twelve years old. His voice is indescribable, angelic, beautiful and just the harmony itself. The small boy stares at him when he notices JaeJoong, singing directly towards his direction. It touches JaeJoong's heart deeply.
He spends the night in the church, sleeping under the young boy's bed he was so drawn to. He hears notes coming out of a room, coming closer and closer to the boy who is playing the piano.
“Did you sleep under my bed?” he asks, never taking his eyes off of the keys.
“Are you living here?” JaeJoong asks back, fascinated by the instrument the young boy is playing on.
“Me and my grandmother, just as long as it will be better for us,” the somewhat chubby boy replies. “Do you know how to play notes?”
“I never saw them written,” JaeJoong responds, slowly settling down next to the smaller boy.
“Look here,” the boy starts, explaining JaeJoong the different keys on the piano.
“Thanks, you angel,” he says with a soft smile, the young boy looking wide-eyed at him.
“Okay, I have to go to school,” the brownish-blond haired whispers before he leaves the church, allowing JaeJoong to use his music notebook.
The music is coming naturally to JaeJoong as the playing children outside are making notes he has to write down. He never ever has written notes before but still they come from his hand to the paper smoothly, perfectly. He lies on the ground flat on his stomach, papers full of notes scattered around him as he composes, composes the song for his parents.
It is later that day when the young boy comes back from school that he is astonished at the thousand of papers that are scattered throughout the room with notes on them.
“Reverend James!!” he shouts, running to the head of the church and pulling the surprised man by his arm towards the room.
“What is wrong, JunSu?” the Reverend asks confused.
“In music lesson you told us about Mozart, right? He was a something prodigy.”
“A child prodigy.”
“Yes, that's it. Anyway, I have such a child prodigy and it sleeps under my bed,” JunSu says excitedly, dragging Reverend James further through the church.
Meanwhile in the holy halls of the church is JaeJoong sitting in front of the organ, taking a deep breath before he lets his fingers sway over the black and white keys. The heavenly music is filling the hall completely, echoing loudly from wall to wall.
JunSu and the Reverend are astonished at the sight and the sound of JaeJoong and his composition. It is as if an angel is playing on the holy instrument.

At the same time is EeTeuk standing in front of the youth welfare office once again, coming across Mr. Jeffries.
“I know, you believe I'm crazy,” he says softly to the black man.
“No one believes that. Listen, my colleague already said it to you. You have to fill out some papers,” Mr. Jeffries says, slowly walking up the stairs.
“But that paper filling alone shall last months. I can't wait for so long,” EeTeuk replies desperately. He didn't want to be separated from his son for one more day.
“I'm sorry. I can't help you. But tell me something. Why now? Why not earlier? Why do you want him now?” Mr. Jeffries asks harshly, disgust audible in his voice.
“I've always wanted him,” EeTeuk answers softly, astonishing the black man in front of him. “I've waited 14 years, two months and 15 days to get to know, that he is still alive. I've counted every day,” he adds with teary eyes. Mr. Jeffries recognizes this answer, remembers the young boy that has answered the same way months ago. He takes EeTeuk with him into his office, trying to help the desperate man to find his son. And he does find him as he looks through the files on his computer. While he is searching for a picture of the boy, is EeTeuk drawn to a paper of a missing child, drawn to the picture that is hidden under another paper. He lifts the corner of the other paper, recognizing the young black haired boy on the picture as his son immediately when he sees his big brown eyes and can feel it deep inside of his heart.
“Here is a picture of him,” Mr. Jeffries holds out a picture of JaeJoong, the same EeTeuk is looking at.
“Yes,” is EeTeuk's only response, his smile genuine and his heart flying because he has finally found his son.

*****

At the same time a young boy with tousled light-brown hair is missing his soulmate, his other half. He wasn't there for days and the young boy was missing him badly.
He always leaves when the sun sets, coming back when school is over. But to no avail. JaeJoong didn't come back for weeks. It hurts YunHo deeply, but still he knows that they will meet some day again. He can feel it swaying through the air.

In Chicago is KangIn standing at the airport, just about to fly back home to San Francisco after he found out, that the musician he was searching for, EeTeuk, is now on honeymoon. He doesn't know that the neighbour he was talking to meant HeeChul, EeTeuk's best friend.
But he is drawn to another place, the blinking of 'New York – Boarding' captivates him and he takes this flight, not knowing why but the wind and his heart are telling him so.

“You brought us a child prodigy, Reverend,” an old woman says to Reverend James as both are watching JaeJoong sitting in a class filled with older students who are learning about music at Julliard school, the best school for music in America.
“I thought he is an angel. There are no details about a Hero. He is nowhere to be found,” the Reverend states what he has found out about 'Hero'.
JaeJoong feels comfortable in his new surroundings, happy with learning how to write down what is swaying around him and what he is able to hear. He is composing every free minute, even during his lessons, and drowning in the music around him. But something isn't right. It's not that his parents are still nowhere to be found but it's something deep inside of his heart, someone he is yearning for and who isn't there: YunHo.

Just miles away in another building is EeTeuk sitting in front of his notes, his cello in his hands and the picture of JaeJoong in his field of vision while he is trying to play again because he made the decision to play at the 'Park Concert' together with the New York philharmonic.
“I should play. I know it sounds crazy, but maybe like this he will hear me,” he has said to HeeChul when he told his friend about his plans.
And in a club at the same time is his other half, KangIn, playing once again the song he has written back then when EeTeuk has left.

*****

JaeJoong is nervous as he stands in front of the door of the room of the head of the Julliard school. He was called to the staff room after his teacher has read the composition JaeJoong has written during his lesson, not paying attention to the lesson itself.
“I'm sorry,” he apologizes as soon as he steps into the room and after he closed the door behind him.
“What are you apologizing for?” the head of the Julliard school, an old woman, asks JaeJoong.
“Sometimes I don't do my homework and am not listening to my teachers,” JaeJoong responds nervously.
“I'm sure you will do better in the future,” the old woman states friendly, gesturing for the nodding JaeJoong to sit down across from her and the other people inside of the room.
“Hero, never in the history of this school was a composition played from a student not to mention such a young one. The New York philharmonic wants to play your 'Rhapsody'. What do you think about it?” the nice woman asks for JaeJoong's permission, relieved when the young black haired is agreeing to the request.
“How many people will hear it?” JaeJoong asks curiously, hoping that many people will hear his composition and hoping that maybe his parents will be a part of them.
“Well, the concert will be held in the Central Park.”
“100?”
“No, thousands and thousands of people,” the old woman says with a friendly laughter at JaeJoong's innocent suggestion.
“That's good. I need to play this in front of many people,” he states, earning genuine laughter from the people surrounding the big table.
Days and weeks are going by with JaeJoong showing the orchestra how to play his 'Rhapsody', with him missing YunHo and vice versa, with KangIn and his band being on stage and with EeTeuk exercising for the big concert.
“How do you do this? How does the music come to you?” the head of the Julliard school asks JaeJoong, fascinated by his talent.
“I don't know. Sometimes when I wake up it is just there or even when I walk through the streets. I just hear it. It is as if somebody is calling for me and I can answer through writing it down,” JaeJoong replies, trying to explain the urge he feels inside of him and the music swaying around him.
“Whom?” the old woman asks dumbfounded.
“The ones that have given me the music.”
